Guru was an exceptional business executive and entrepreneur who took great pride in being an alumnus (MBA class of 1998-2000) of SP Jain Institute of Management (SPJIMR) Mumbai - one of India's top business schools. His involvement within the SPJIMR Alumni network was extensive, with him holding a leadership position within the Singapore chapter. The significance that SPJIMR held for him was immeasurable; whenever given the chance, he eagerly mentored students and fellow alumni.
